Caroline Le Méhauté Négociation 34 : Porter surface

Caroline Le Méhauté (b. 1982) is an artist who lives and works in Marseille, France. She has received her BA Degree of Fine Arts from the College of Toulouse le Mirail in 2004 and has completed her MFA from the College of Fine Arts, Marseille in 2007.

 

Caroline Le Méhauté’s work is concerned with the visceral and organic qualities of the landscape. Working with a combination of natural and manmade materials such as peat, rock, and wood, she creates large-scale sculptures that depend on careful engineering and delicate balance.
